Thanks to Gina’a determination, The Fiber Closet received word that woven scarves are OK for this project. Gina wove a beautiful scarf and sent it to the Super Bowl Host Committee. The Committee accepted the scarf and asked that we spread the word that woven scarves are acceptable following the same yarn guidelines for knit or crochet scarves.
Gina used Cascade 220 yarn–Color 8505 White and Color Heathers 9457 Blue
The Fiber Closet has received two woven scarves: another one from Gina and one from Cathy. The Fiber Closet has received several knitted scarves.
