** Class Information

Rather than schedule classes at predetermined times, we chose to offer “Pick a Class”. Classes (http://www.thefibercloset.com/classes/) may be scheduled afternoons or evenings. Classes can start at 1 pm, 3 pm or 6 pm. The number of sessions and length of the session varies with each subject. We want to fit your schedule.
Here is how it works.
1. Pick the class you want to take from our catalog.

2. Call us at 765.569.2953.
3. Pay in advance for your class.
4. We will e-mail or mail a confirmation to you along with a materials list.
** Class FAQ

* All classes are scheduled upon request
* Classes are available year-round
* All materials (except needles & notions) must be purchased at The Fiber Closet
* Students receive a 15% discount on yarn/knitting needles/crochet hooks for class
* Students can bring their own tools, such as knitting needles, sewing needles, row counters, etc.
* Class fee must be paid at time of enrollment – no refund if student fails to provide 24-hour notice for cancellation
Note: You must purchase or own a copy of the patterns/books used in these classes. Under no circumstances will patterns or instructions be photocopied. It is a violation of federal copyright law. It is permissible for you to photocopy from YOUR book so that you can make notes and adjustments to the pattern you are working on.

Our June Knit-Along was the Baby Surprise Jacket by Elizabeth Zimmerman. Sharon entered hers in the Parke County Fair. She was awarded several ribbons for her exquisite workmanship. Congrats Sharon from all of us.
** Knit & Crochet for Giving

On Wednesday, August 7th from 6-8 pm we will be meeting at the shop for a night of charity knitting (or crochet). We are hoping to boost our Halos of Hope hat total. This month we have FREE yarn for the first 10 knitters to join us. If you don’t make it in time for the free yarn….we will have refreshments for everyone.
** September Knit-Along

The September Knit-Along is in the planning stages. We will be doing a Christmas/Holiday Stocking. Brush up on your sock & colorwork skills by joining us for the KAL. What a fun way to knit at least one stocking in time for the holidays. We always have a great time. Hope you can knit with us. The more the merrier!
We will be knitting a stocking similar to one of these. The picture is just to tempt you into joining us. “wink,wink”
We are starting to make plans for fall workshops, classes, KAL’s and events. If you have any suggestions, we would love to hear them. Stop in & let’s chat!
