Many friends and business associates were on hand for the Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting ceremony to celebrate The Fiber Closet’s move to our new location at 120 S. Market St. in Rockville, IN
The Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony was held at Noon on June 13, 2013 at The Fiber Closet’s new location of 120 S. Market St in Rockville, IN.
This was followed by an open house attended by many friends, family & well wishers. It was a wonderful celebration.
We need to thank a few people who helped make this day special.
The Rockville Chamber of Commerce & its board members who attended.
Diane Moss for the sample knitting, guest book and attending to the refreshments.
Daniele Hoult for the lovely & delicious cake.
Mike Moreo & Tom Mitchell for their loving support.
Sharon Harmon for her moral and technology support.
There are many more too numerous to mention, but you are all aware of who you are & please know that we appreciate your support far more than words can express.
We are so very thankful for this opportunity to move back to the town square and expand the shop. We now have a lovely showroom, an education area, room for the spinning & weaving department, a roomy office/studio for us to do all the work that is required to make the front run smoothly and a full kitchen to create our own hand-dyed yarns. We have closets and storage areas galore. Those of you that have been long time customers know what a boon that is to us. And lest we not forget, one of our most treasures amenities…..the lovely restroom!
We hope you will spread the word to all that The Fiber Closet is a great place to shop for not only yarn needs but gifts as well.
We have a consignment area where local fiber artisans will be offering their work for sale. This will include many ready-mades suitable for gift-giving.
