Illiana Yarn Crawl

IllianaYarnCrawl wo date

The Illiana Yarn Crawl is off and running….as fast as a crawl can. Haha.

July 15 – 24, 2016 10am – 5pm Everyday!

If you haven’t been in to visit us at The Fiber Closet yet, you are missing out on some great deals. This year instead of offering just a couple of shop door prizes for the crawl, we are offering huge discounts to every passport holder. So for just your small $10 passport purchase, you more than get your money’s worth. You get your exclusive tote bag, patterns, commemorative pin and access to all the discounts. Even if you can’t make it to other shops, just visiting us will recoup your $10 investment. But of course if you can visit the other shops, that would be fantastic as they all have specials going on too. The exclusive IYC yarn this year is Dream in Color mini skeins. Each shop has a different color. Our color is Amethyst. It is beautiful!

IYC Amethyst Mini Skein

Both of your included patterns are made using the mini skeins. The more shops you visit, the more colors in your finished shawl/shawlette. We also have a full set on display with labels of which yarn is at which shop in case you need to plan your trip around the colors.

Cheryl’s hand-dyed yarn is flying out the door and Gina’s new stitch markers are a hit. There are also some deep discounts on other merchandise. Oh and lest we forget…Refreshments!

We have had solo visitors, lots of car loads and even an RV full of knitters & crocheters. What fun it was to see that big RV pull up in front of the shop and all those smiling faces come in the door. We are enjoying the comradery and stories from everyone. Such a fun time!

Look for more updates later in the week but for now, please consider visiting us. We are having a ball!
